After a final breakfast at the luxurious Llao Llao Hotel, we’ll make our way to San Carlos de Bariloche Airport (BRC) for your flight to Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) in Buenos Aires. From there, you can either embark on your journey home or continue exploring. ** Your flight from Bariloche is scheduled to arrive at EZE at 12:50 PM on May 30th. When planning your onward travel, be sure to allow ample time to collect your luggage and check in for your next flight.**

The Marvelous Markets of Buenos Aires - Flavors, Crafts + Culture: Sun, May 18th
Sunday is market day in Buenos Aires, an opportunity to explore the real Buenos Aires. This morning we will begin our adventure in La Boca, a colorful district located at the mouth of the Riachuelo River. Here lies Caminito Street, a vibrant pedestrian alley designed by Italian-Argentine artist Benito Quinquela Martin. This street is lined with brightly painted houses made of corrugated iron, recalling the 19th-century tradition of dockworkers painting their homes with leftover ship paint. This street is famous for musicians and local artists selling their works. Next, we will head to the celebrated antiques market in San Telmo with its narrow cobbled streets and colonial architecture. This market is filled with stalls offering everything from vintage jewelry to beautiful glassware. Here, you will see street performers entertaining passing pedestrians with tango music and dance, puppet shows, and living statues. We will conclude the day in Palermo and its Plaza Serrano Fair is where local artisans and hippies hang out to sell their wares. Here you can take advantage of the many bars and restaurants as you enjoy shopping before returning to the hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant will be included in this spectacular day.

Cultural and Historical Tour - Recoleta Neighborhood and Cemetery - Monday, May 19th
The neighborhood of Recoleta, rich in architectural and cultural history, forms an important part of the city’s tourism trail. When the Prince of Wales visited in 1925, a special commemorative pamphlet described the area as “aristocratic, polished, artistic and magnificently beautiful”. Even today, with hotels, towers, shopping centers and weekend crowds nudging their way between the old palaces and pathways, the neighborhood retains a civic grandeur and European orderliness which is rare elsewhere in the city. It is the home to the famous Recoleta Cemetery, where the country’s founding fathers and patrician families lie in style, including Eva Perón.

Experience the heart of Argentine cuisine with our immersive cooking class at Espacio Azai! Learn to prepare traditional delights like "chipacitos," the irresistible cheesy bread rolls, and master the art of crafting savory empanadas with some delicious fillings. Guided by our expert chefs, you'll gain hands-on experience and insider tips. After the class, you will enjoy a delicious tasting of your own creations. This culinary journey offers a unique taste of Argentina and the skills to recreate these flavorful dishes at home.

Bike Buenos Aires - Tuesday, May 20th
Beginning at the Southern Waterfront, we will ride through the park, which is a soothing oasis in the midst of the bustling city. We will stop at the beautiful Nereid Fountain by Lola Mora and continue into the Costanera Sur Ecological Reserve. The preserve is an extension of 900 acres reclaimed from the river, which has prolific flora and fauna. This ecological reserve is an unusual and unexpected consequence of highway construction throughout Buenos Aires during the mid-20th century. As we continue, we will ride close to the vast marshes covered with water lilies and lush forests with the backdrop of the city's skyline. We will be on the lookout for Black-necked Swans, Golden-breasted Woodpeckers, and the Great Pampa Finch, as well as nutrias and tortoises. Our ride will move on through Puerto Madero, pausing to view and learn about interesting monuments such as Taxi Driver & Tango Monument and the Santiago Calatrava's Woman's Bridge. Additionally, we will see the Fragata Sarmiento and Queen of Holland Square.

Ornate & Distinctive Art Immersion - Filetado Porteño Workshop - Tuesday, May 20th
We will watch as skilled artisans intricately paint vibrant designs onto various surfaces, from signs to murals, showcasing the city's rich heritage. Enjoy learning about the history and significance of Fileteado Porteño, which originated in the bustling streets of Buenos Aires in the early 20th century, inspired by a fusion of European and indigenous influences. Gauchos of El Rosario de Areco with Traditional Asado Dinner - Wednesday, May 21st
Set against the backdrop of rolling hills and expansive grasslands, El Rosario de Areco Ranch welcomes guests with its warm hospitality and serene ambiance. The estate's traditional architecture and rustic décor evoke a sense of nostalgia, harkening back to a simpler time when gauchos roamed the vast plains. From horseback riding and cattle herding to traditional Argentine asado meals cooked over an open fire, there are endless opportunities to connect with the land and its heritage.
We will have the opportunity to observe the timeless traditions of rural Argentina through a variety of activities and experiences. As Argentina is the world capital of polo, we will have the opportunity to meet and greet with some of Argentina's top jockeys and their polo ponies, where they will share stories of the sport's fast-paced action and elite horsemanship. Additionally, we will be entertained by a gaucho demonstration, where the gauchos show off their creole skills, the traditional equestrian abilities and rural practices of these Argentine cowboys.
At the end of the day, we will get to partake in a traditional asado dinner, where meat is slow-cooked over an open wood fire. Here, we will experience the tradition, hospitality, and the Argentine passion for sharing food.
