I think that if we have never been to Sicily we are conditioned into thinking that it is full of “Godfather” type Mafiosa with sinister characters lurking around every corner, at least that was my impression. Well I have found it to be utterly charming with incredible scenery and very friendly people. I have never felt in any way uneasy.

We will be taking you to two very different locations, Taormina and Palermo.

Taormina is the quintessential charming tourist town nestled on a cliff under the shadows of Mount Etna.

On the other hand Palermo is a nitty gritty real Italian city full of larger than life characters. Yes, on the outside one cannot call it beautiful but scratch way the veneer and you will find real elegance.
